Rocky Mountain High scholarships

A limited number of scholarships are available each year, and you may apply for all programs for which you are eligible. All applications must be received by April 15th, and notifications are made by early May. Please see individual application forms for details, or contact the Outdoor Program Leader at Spring Canyon.

All applicants should demonstrate self-sacrifice, integrity, and servant-leadership; be involved in campus/installation religious activities; and be committed to improving the spiritual climate of their community. Examples include Bible studies, church or chapel participation, mentoring, and conferences.

  • Hemingway RMH Scholarship: This scholarship has been created in memory of RMH founder LtCol. Tom Hemingway (USMC, Ret., d.2000) to promote the principles of Christian leadership within the military. The scholarship value covers the full cost of the RMH program, with the whitewater rafting cost generously donated by Noah's Ark. Transportation costs to and from Spring Canyon are not covered by the scholarship.

    Eligibility: Current ROTC students of any service affiliation are eligible. Service academy students are not eligible.

  • Spring Canyon RMH Scholarship: Through the generosity of our donors, a limited number of scholarships are available each summer to well-qualified applicants. Scholarship values may vary in value up to the full program cost, depending on the amount of funds available. Transportation costs to and from Spring Canyon are not covered by the scholarship.
  • Eligibility: Current ROTC and service academy students and all ranks of active duty military are eligible.

  • Guy Pulliam Leadership Award: This award recognizes one cadet who demonstrates a commitment to spiritual values and to the spiritual aspects of leadership. It is named in honor of an Air Force pilot who embodied the above qualities and who was killed while on a training mission in 1973. This award is sponsored by Officers’ Christian Fellowship (OCF). This award consists of one $1,000 scholarship to attend RMH.

    Eligibility: Current Air Force ROTC AS200 or AS300 cadets. Please contact the OCF home office (800.424.1984) or your detachment commander for application details.
