Winter Sports Retreat 2008
at OCF's Spring Canyon will be a wonderful holiday experience for you and your family. Enjoy speakers and seminars plus a variety of winter sports activities. Tubing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, hot springs, Christmas Eve communion, and a New Year's Eve celebration. Teen program activities include one day of downhill skiing, ice skating at Breckenridge, and a visit to the hot springs. Spring Canyon's hospitality, good food and friendly hearth will make this a holiday to remember.

A 5-night minimum stay is required upon booking.

No Pets Allowed -- Spring Canyon does not allow pets at camp. This is to reduce the chance of allergic reaction, ensure safety, maximize everyone's enjoyment, maintain our property, and minimize liability. If you are an active duty military member and PCSing with your pet, please call camp or email us to request an exception. We understand that PCSing families have to travel with their pets many times. Photo Permission -- During your visit to Spring Canyon , your picture might be taken or you may make a verbal or written comment that could be published in a Spring Canyon or OCF publication.  Sometimes pictures and comments are used in brochures or the OCF Command magazine.  We assume your permission to use photos taken at Spring Canyon or use comments made at Spring Canyon unless you tell us that you don't want them published.  Please tell us at the camp office if you want to withdraw your permission.  Thank you!


Rates for 2007 Winter Sports Retreat

Rates are based on full week (6 nights) and includes all meals and lodging. NOTE: A minimum 5 night stay for WSR week 2 is not required for those that have to return to work or school.

  • NCO and petty officers -- $250/adult/week (daily rate $50)
    Teens 13-18 yr. $220/week (daily rate $44)
    Children 5-12 yr. $125/week (daily rate $25)

  • Company grade (O-1 to O-3) -- $275/adult/week (daily rate $55)
    Teens 13-18 yr. $240/week (daily rate $48)
    Children 5-12 yr. $140/week (daily rate $28)

  • Field grade (O-4 & O-5) -- $310/adult/week (daily rate $62)
    Teens 13-18 yr. $275/week (daily rate $55)
    Children 5-12 yr. $155/week (daily rate $31)

  • Senior officers & civilian (O-6, above) – $350/adult/week (daily rate $70)
    Teens 13-18 yr. $310/week (daily rate $62)
    Children 5-12 yr. $175/week (daily rate $35)

Teen program – Additional fee is $85 per teen (ice skating, skiing, hot springs, transportation)

NOTES for all guests:

  • Children infant-4 yr. old are free
  • Fifth, sixth…. child in family is free
  • There is a 5% active duty discount
  • No additional adult program fee or children’s program fee
  • A minimum 5 night booking is requested. There is no credit for missed meals.

a. Master sergeant, wife, 2 kids (5-12 yr), 6 nights -- 2007 total: $750

b. Captain, spouse, 2 kids (5-12 yr), 6 nights -- 2007 total: $830

c. Major, spouse, 2 teens, 2 kids (5-12 yr), 6 nights, 2 teen program – 2007 total: $1650

d. Civilian, spouse, 2 teens, 6 nights, 2 teen program – 2007 total: $1490

Non-Refundable Deposits – required to confirm all reservations. This deposit is credited to your final bill at checkout. Refunded only in case of military orders.

$165 for families, $105 for couples, $65 for singles
