Topic:

The Christian’s Secret Weapon

The weapons we use in our fight are not the world’s weapons but God’s powerful weapons…” (2 Cor. 10:4). The most effective weapons that God has given us for living out our Christian life in a fallen world aren’t always the most prominent, the most noticed, or even the most clearly understood for their importance. These include prayer, worship, spiritual disciplines, biblical literacy, Christian witness, perseverance, and rest. One of the most important, and seldom addressed, is the fear of God. Our Chaplains’ Family Conference will provide a fresh understanding of the fear of the Lord, “the beginning of knowledge.” (Proverbs 1:7).
