SUMMARY:Rocky Mountain High #6
DESCRIPTION:Mentor: LTC John Cross\, USA (Ret.) \nJohn graduated from West Point in 1993 and served as an Infantry Officer in the Army for 26 years. He commanded two companies in the 101st Airborne Division and an infantry battalion in the 1st Infantry Division along with numerous other staff and leadership positions from the platoon to division levels. Following battalion command\, he worked with college students at West Point and in ROTC where the Lord gave him a passion for this student population. John now serves with Valor\, a Cru campus ministry that focuses on ROTC & Academy students as they seek to integrate their faith with their future service as military officers for the glory of God. \nJohn’s objective is to help the RMH attendees draw closer to the Lord and to model Jesus in their service back on their campuses and in the military while relying on the Holy Spirit for strength and wisdom. \nCo-Mentor: LTC John A. Hoyman\, USA (Ret) \nJohn graduated from the Crusader Battalion Army ROTC at Wheaton College in 1992. He served as a rifle platoon leader and company commander in the Pennsylvania National Guard. As an Army captain\, he went on active duty\, starting as an instructor of Army ROTC at Wheaton College. Following ten years on active duty\, he returned to White Sulphur Springs as the operations director while continuing military service in the Army Reserve. He completed his military career in command of a logistics battalion in Queens\, New York. John currently serves as the director of ROTC ministries for OCF. \nJohn’s objective is to inspire RMH attendees to develop a leadership philosophy\ncentered on the Lord Jesus Christ and what it means to follow him\nunreservedly while serving our country as a military leader. \nMake a Reservation
