DESCRIPTION:Speaker(s):\nWesley Dickinson\nWesley Dickinson is a rare homeschool parent\, because he’s a stay-at-home\, homeschool dad.  Moreover\, he directs a Classical Conversations Foundations and Essentials community of almost 30 families near Offutt AFB in Omaha\, Nebraska\, where his two children attend.  His educational background\, outside of homeschooling\, includes a bachelor degree and a master degree in civil engineering with teaching experience at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  He and his wife\, Mindy\, will celebrate their 12th anniversary this year.  She is patient\, and his daughters are adventurous.  Wesley also enjoys spending time in the woods\, at the range\, studying Latin\, evangelizing classical education\, and cooking as often as possible. \nTopic:\n“CC Practicum: The Art of Grammar”\nClassical Conversations’ 2021 Summer Practicum focuses on Attending to the Essentials: The Art of Grammar.  Our daily goal is to inspire and equip parents eager to become confident “everyday educators.”  The encouragement of community\, the insights of other lead learners\, and the hands-on practice we’ll enjoy will build assurance and skills—for learning and for teaching!
