Topic: “Designed for Discipleship”
Our study will consider the design of discipleship beginning with the significance of Jesus words to his own disciples, “Beware the leaven of the Pharisees and that of Herod.” The disciples were holding tightly to a cultural faith that was fractured and fading away when Jesus entered their lives with new and unsettling questions. If the old temple design was to fall away, what new tools would the disciples need to build a living temple stone by stone? Our daily discussions will explore how Jesus uses elements of vision, pressure, testing and sacrificial love as the discipleship tools to build His church.
Guest Ambassadors: LTC Jim and Christina Harbridge, USA (Ret.)
